IT ALL SEEMS to have gone sideways—and for the second time. On March sixth an American agency referred to as Intuitive Machines tried to land a robotic spacecraft referred to as Athena close to the Moon’s south pole. Issues started promisingly sufficient. The lander fired up its engine on schedule, making its manner down from lunar orbit. Even the lack of communications within the remaining levels of descent was to be anticipated. After a few nail-biting minutes, nevertheless, Intuitive introduced that though Athena was on the lunar floor, its standing was “unclear”.
