Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin admits he regrets comments about Max Gawn’s personal issues

Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin admits he instantly regretted exposing the private scenario of Max Gawn after the membership’s defeat to North Melbourne on Sunday.

Goodwin cited a hidden “backstory” as purpose for Gawn’s poor efficiency because the Melbourne skipper was sensationally outplayed by Kangaroos ruckman Tristan Xerri.

Goodwin mentioned he left the press convention and instantly issued an apology to his participant for the feedback he had made.
