Campaigners have gathered outdoors the Scottish parliament forward of a vote on plans to legalise assisted dying.

MSP Liam McArthur tabled the invoice which, if ultimately handed, would permit terminally unwell adults to hunt medical assist to finish their lives.

It comes after MPs voted in favour of similar proposals for England and Wales.
