Japan's agriculture minister resigns over rice gaffe: Why is the staple in short supply?

Japan’s new agriculture minister Shinjiro Koizumi vowed to convey down costs of rice, after his predecessor was pressured to resign over a gaffe. Taku Eto had brought about an uproar after joking he by no means had to purchase rice due to donations from his supporters, touching many a uncooked nerve. However why is the nation dealing with a disaster? Some analysts blame long-running authorities coverage for the scarcity. Plus, Marks & Spencer says a current cyberattack will wipe out almost a 3rd of its annual earnings.
