In an interview with FRANCE 24, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal justified Sunday’s daring drone strikes on 4 Russian airfields as a means “to clear our sky from Russian bombers” and shield civilians from “nightly missile and drone assaults on civilian infrastructure”. He additionally urged the West to ship long-range missiles “to chop Russian logistics close to the Ukrainian border”.
