US Senate Republicans have voted to chop $9 billion from public broadcasting and international help – a victory for US President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly criticised PBS and NPR. In the meantime, Trump is scaling up his stress marketing campaign in opposition to Fed Chair Jerome Powell and taking credit score for an ingredient swap at Coca-Cola.
