Ukraine's digital front lines: Startups on bleeding edge of military tech

This week we zero in on the navy tech sector in Ukraine with our correspondent Gulliver Cragg and Kateryna Bondar, a fellow on the Heart for Strategic and Worldwide Research in Washington. Because the begin of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, an improvised trade of defence tech startups has surged, and expertise – significantly drones – has helped Kyiv to carry the road in opposition to Moscow. However the nation presently lacks the funding to scale manufacturing. In the meantime the Kremlin is catching up, quickly rising its home manufacturing of Shahed drones.
