U.S. Returning Caribbean Strike Survivors To Colombia And Ecuador, Trump Says

WASHINGTON, Oct 18 (Reuters) – The US is sending the 2 survivors of a Thursday strike within the Caribbean to their residence international locations of Colombia and Ecuador to be detained and prosecuted, U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Saturday.

The transfer, which was first reported by Reuters, implies that the U.S. army is not going to should grapple with thorny authorized points surrounding army detention for suspected drug traffickers, whose alleged crimes don’t fall neatly underneath the legal guidelines of conflict, authorized specialists say.
