John Rocker, the ex-Atlanta Braves star who infamously offended all of New York Metropolis, is now attacking its main mayoral candidate, Democrat Zohran Mamdani.
“25 years in the past I criticized New York for it’s fast decline into a 3rd world nation,” Rocker wrote Tuesday on X, previously Twitter. “I used to be compelled to bear Psychological Counseling, as if I had been the loopy one. 25 years later, town is voting in a muslim socialist for mayor. FUCK NEW YORK.”
Requested if he would ever play for the group, Rocker enshrined himself within the Hate Corridor of Fame:
“I’d retire first,” he replied. “It’s essentially the most hectic, nerve-wracking metropolis. Think about having to take the 7 Practice to the ballpark trying such as you’re [riding through] Beirut subsequent to some child with purple hair, subsequent to some queer with AIDS, proper subsequent to some dude who simply obtained out of jail for the fourth time, proper subsequent to some 20-year-old mother with 4 children. It’s miserable.”
“The largest factor I don’t like about New York are the foreigners,” he added. “You’ll be able to stroll a whole block in Occasions Sq. and never hear anyone talking English. Asians and Koreans and Vietnamese and Indians and Russians and Spanish individuals and all the pieces up there. How the hell did they get on this nation?”
The left-handed nearer’s X account is rife with far-right messaging, together with a slur at Mamdani.
“I don’t give a fuck that Mohammad [sic] Mamdani rides his bike round NYC to go to the Kebab stands,” he wrote on Oct. 16. “I actually don’t.”
