The European Union has proposed modifications to a 2023 regulation that successfully banned the sale of recent inside combustion engine vehicles from 2035.  As a substitute of reducing CO2 emissions by 100% from 2021 ranges, carmakers can be required to scale back them by 90%, that means a small-scale manufacturing of petrol or hybrid vehicles might proceed.
