The UK authorities has demanded that Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich provides £2.5bn from the sale of Chelsea Soccer Membership for use for humanitarian functions in Ukraine, or face authorized motion.

Sir Keir Starmer introduced at Prime Minister’s Questions at lunchtime that the Treasury is issuing a licence for the switch of the frozen funds to a basis for use to offer help in Ukraine.
