Trump cancels threatened tariffs after reaching 'framework of deal' on Greenland

Simply hours after he doubled down on his declare that the US ought to “get Greenland”, Donald Trump made an abrupt U-turn on the tariffs he had threatened to slap on European nations that opposed his bid.  Saying on his Reality Social platform, the US president stated he and NATO chief Mark Rutte had reached a “framework of a future deal” on Greenland, and that in mild of that, he wouldn’t be imposing the ten% import duties that had been slated to enter impact on February 1st.
