Airships may finally prove useful for transporting cargo

IN 1783 THE Montgolfier brothers lofted a trio of cattle over Versailles in a hot-air balloon, in what stays essentially the most iconic demonstration of the ability of lighter-than-air craft. Since then such automobiles have tailored to hold ever extra—and ever extra distinguished—passengers. However they’ve not often been used to move cargo.
