The Brisbane Roar stated it’s honoured to have two members of Iran’s national women’s football team who sought asylum in Australia, coaching and taking part in with the A-League ladies’s group.

Photos of Fatemeh Pasandideh and Atefeh Ramezanisadeh coaching with the squad have been posted by the group to social media on Monday, with Roar chief government Kaz Patafta welcoming the gamers.

“These are elite footballers – passionate, gifted ladies who love the sport simply as deeply as we do,” Patafta stated.

“Brisbane is dwelling to one of many nation’s most passionate soccer communities, and the Roar household has a giant coronary heart.

“We might be honoured to open our doorways and give you a spot to coach, play, and belong and can start to discover the way to make this occur. No politics. No circumstances. Simply soccer, group, and a heat welcome. Queensland is your house now.”

Pasandideh and Ramezanisadeh have been amongst seven Iranian footballers who initially stated they have been in search of asylum on their journey to the Girls’s Asian Cup in Australia, however the different 5 modified their minds.

Human rights activists say the ladies who left might have been pressured to reverse their selections by threats in opposition to their households.

In keeping with experiences, messages have been relayed to the gamers by members of the group’s employees urging them to return to Iran.

It is understood a participant who had initially sought asylum has been passing on messages from Iranian soccer officers to gamers, encouraging them to go away Australia.
