We host the EU Ombudswoman, Portuguese politician Teresa Anjinho, who says she goals to make her workplace the “reference level for integrity points”. The workplace itself is known as the EU Ombudsman, although it has now been led by two girls. It was established within the early Nineties as an unbiased establishment that investigates complaints about poor administration by EU establishments and our bodies. We focus on the priorities of her five-year mandate, which started this February, and the transparency points surrounding scandals reminiscent of “Pfizergate”, “Qatargate” and “Huaweigate”.
