
Eve Irvine is happy to welcome Daisy Fancourt, Professor of Psychobiology & Epidemiology and Head of the Social Biobehavioural Analysis Group at UCL. Her new guide “Artwork Treatment” highlights the therapeutic energy of the humanities. Drawing on 1000’s of scientific research, Ms. Fancourt argues that the humanities are an important a part of our well-being. From boosting dopamine and decreasing cortisol, to enhancing mind plasticity and even altering gene expression, the guide reveals the untapped potential of immersive, hands-on creativity for preventive well being.
