‘Choose Europe!’: Macron invites scientists to work in France amid US funding cuts

French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday invited worldwide scientists to work in France or elsewhere in Europe. The nation’s newly launched “Select France for Science” platform comes as US President Donald Trump slashes funding for universities and analysis centres within the US.
