Developing countries face 'tidal wave of debt repayments' to China, report shows

China is about to obtain a report quantity of debt reimbursement from creating international locations this 12 months, a majority of which is owed by the world’s 75 poorest nations. New analysis by Australian suppose tank Lowy Institute says with new loans drying up and extra loans maturing, China has now switched from being a number one lender for low-income nations to a significant debt collector. Plus, a days-long taxi drivers’ strike continues throughout France at the same time as their major unions are negotiating with the federal government.
