This month a gaggle of South Korean defence-industry bosses and authorities officers visited Ottawa. Their pitch: howitzers, rocket-launchers and submarines for the Canadian armed forces. They don’t seem to be the one East Asians making the most of the worldwide rush to rearm, not least amongst America’s all of the sudden nervous allies. Japanese companies are additionally discovering loads of keen consumers.
