An English soccer workforce confirmed the six-game suspension of its supervisor this weekend after he made sexist remarks on a podcast in January.
“Following (supposed enjoyable) feedback made on a podcast concerning girls drivers, First Staff Supervisor Marc White has obtained a six-game touchline suspension to be served from the start of the league season,” a Sunday social media post by Dorking Wanderers FC reads.
Marc White, the supervisor of the Dorking Wanderers, made the sexist comment on the “Below The Cosh” podcast in January when he responded to a query about his disciplinary document.
“Extra girls refs now, so you must pay a bit extra respect, have you learnt what I imply?” White, who can also be the founder and proprietor of the Dorking Wanderers, stated within the podcast episode, which could be considered on YouTube. “It’s a must to pay a bit extra respect, like assist them park.”

The English Soccer Affiliation issued White’s suspension in Might, writing that he “acted in an improper method and/or used abusive and/or insulting phrases throughout an interview with ‘Below the Cosh’ opposite to FA Rule E3.1.”
FA Rule E3.1 states that members can’t use “violent conduct, severe foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting phrases or habits.”
