'Everest of the Seas': Skippers to set off on Vendée Globe solo round-the-world race

Tens of hundreds of followers gathered in France’s Sables d’Olonne on Sunday for the beginning of the tenth Vendée Globe, the round-the-world solo yacht race generally known as the Everest of the Seas.
