France’s digital minister has introduced that 35 websites have been able to host information centres within the nation, as the worldwide AI summit opens its doorways. It is a chance for Emmanuel Macron to point out France is a key contender on the world stage in terms of AI. Talking to France 24, Meta’s chief AI scientist Yann Le Cun mentioned the success of Chinese language AI firm DeepSeek was a warning to OpenAI that “they are not as forward as they assume they’re, or a minimum of not for very lengthy.”
