Lower than every week after the autumn of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, FRANCE 24’s Wassim Nasr travelled to Syria to interview insurgent chief Ahmed al-Sharaa, higher recognized by his nom de guerre Abu Mohammed al-Jolani. Crossing from Aleppo within the north to Damascus within the south, Nasr handed via cities and cities within the newly liberated nation, documenting its folks and landscapes alongside the way in which.
