Gaming giant EA to be taken private in a $55bn deal

Digital Arts, the corporate behind blockbuster video video games such because the Sims and Madden NFL, has agreed to switch possession to a consortium led by Saudi Arabia’s public funding fund PIF, US non-public fairness agency Silver Lake and Jared Kushner’s Affinity Companions.  The $55 bn deal marks the biggest leveraged buyout in historical past.  In the meantime, China is launching a brand new visa programme to draw younger overseas expertise, after Washington shocked the tech world with a brand new $100,000 price for its H1-B visa.
