California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) has clapped again at podcaster Joe Rogan for slamming him as a “bullshit artist” who “ruined” Los Angeles and the state of California.
On Wednesday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan mentioned the potential Democratic contenders for the 2028 presidential election with visitor Jack Carr, a former Navy SEAL.
Mentioning former Vice President Kamala Harris and former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Rogan then introduced up the concept of a Newsom presidency.
Rogan informed Carr that the left-wing politicians “don’t have any religion” in Newsom.
“Apparently, they don’t have any religion in Gavin Newsom, which is type of humorous as a result of he needs to be president so dangerous,” Rogan mentioned.
Rogan, who used to reside in California, then shared his perspective on Newsom’s influence on Los Angeles and the remainder of the state.
“You possibly can’t destroy a metropolis after which go on to destroy a state and say, ‘Guys, that was simply observe. As soon as I get it as a president, I’m going to repair it. Repair all of it,’” he mentioned.
Calling it “so loopy,” Carr then overestimated Newsom as being “so clean” and a “nice politician,” to which Rogan disagreed vehemently.
“No. I feel he’s horrible… there’s nobody who’s good who’s competing in opposition to him. There’s no sincerity… I imply, he’s a great bullshit artist,” mentioned Rogan, who endorsed Newsom nemesis Donald Trump within the 2024 election.
He then alleged that “all people’s leaving” California due to Newsom’s “horrible shit.”
“The issues that he says when he will get confronted: ‘Now we have the best this and the best that.’ Like all people’s leaving! You have got the best unemployment,” Rogan mentioned. “You have got the best homelessness.”

He added, “Cash’s lacking. You killed Hollywood. Like Hollywood doesn’t exist anymore. It’s actually gone. Mandated vaccines for youths that didn’t want them. You guys, he did horrible shit.”
Newsom, who has emerged in a ballot as a top Democratic candidate for the 2028 presidential nomination, fired again at Rogan’s remarks in an X post.
“Joe Rogan is just too [chicken emoji] to have me on his present and expose his listeners to the reality, so I’ll put it right here,” the California governor wrote.
He then fought in opposition to Rogan’s claims by rattling off a few of the state’s financial wins, which embrace being “4th largest financial system on the earth and #1 in farming.”
“Invite me on any time,” he added, with a smiley face emoji.
Rogan has but to reply to Newsom. Reps for Rogan and Newsom’s workplace didn’t instantly reply to HuffPost’s request for remark.
