New York has adopted London by selecting hope over worry in electing Democrat Zohran Mamdani as its new mayor, Sir Sadiq Khan stated.
Mr Mamdani, 34, defeated former New York governor Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa to turn into town’s first Muslim mayor and the primary of South Asian heritage.
