Indian high-speed train hits and kills seven elephants | World News

A high-speed practice carrying 650 folks has collided with and killed seven wild Asiatic elephants and injured a calf in northern India.

5 practice coaches and the engine derailed following the impression, however there have been no reported human casualties, Kishore Sharma, Indian Railways spokesman stated.

Native authorities say the incident occurred within the early hours of Saturday morning in India‘s northeastern state of Assam.
