Surgical technologists—often called scrub techs—play a vital role in the operating room, ensuring that surgical procedures run smoothly. They prepare operating rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist surgeons throughout procedures. It’s a career that combines technical skill with a deep sense of purpose, making it a perfect match for someone like Trinasja.

“As a kid, I always wanted to work in a hospital,” Trinasja shares. “I used to watch movies about surgeries and doctors, and I loved the idea of helping people. That’s what first sparked my interest in this profession.”

Her passion for care and curiosity about medicine have grown into a focused career path, driven by a strong desire to serve others and contribute to her community.

“We are excited to promote our rising star seniors this year in the Greater Houston area who are positively contributing to their community and pursuing in-demand professions,” said Terrance Edmond, Chairman, Chancellor, and CEO of Owner Family of Companies.

With compassion, focus, and a clear vision for the future, Trinasja Burnom represents the very best of what it means to be a Rising Star Senior. We celebrate her journey and can’t wait to see the impact she will make in the world of healthcare.__tpx__
