Nick Percat announces retirement; Former champion reflects on Supercars career

Former Bathurst 1000 winner Nick Percat has introduced he’ll retire from full-time racing after subsequent month’s Adelaide grand closing.

He drove for Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport, Brad Jones Racing, Walkinshaw Andretti United and Matt Stone Racing, successful six Supercars races together with a Bathurst 1000 victory in 2011.

The 37-year-old stated the choice to retire wasn’t a simple one and defined that his involvement with JND Racing (the Queensland-based karting staff Percat based) would turn into his focus.
