Polling in Ecuador closed with President Daniel Noboa poised for re-election, main with practically 50% in early counts—simply sufficient to probably bypass a runoff. Challenger Luisa Gonzalez trails at 38%. With solely 40,000 votes tallied and tens of millions forged, last outcomes are pending within the nation’s most important election in many years.
