Manly CEO Tony Mestrov says he has “combined emotions” about leaving the membership after the Sea Eagles confirmed they are going to be looking out for a brand new chief govt.

Mestrov has held the place of CEO for the previous three years however the final 12 months have been a turbulent time for the membership.

Information had been brewing the Sea Eagles and Mestrov, a former head of Greyhounds NSW, had been poised to separate and the membership formally introduced the choice on Tuesday morning.

“After a three-year time period, there are combined emotions in departing Manly. I’m pleased with the enterprise transformation delivered by a hard-working workforce that I had the pleasure to steer,” Mestrov mentioned in a press release launched by the membership.

“I imagine the membership is nicely positioned for future success, on and off the sector, and may construct upon the foundations that at the moment are in place.

“I look ahead to retaining in contact with the Manly household who’ve been welcoming and supportive throughout my tenure – and a specific thanks should go the employees and supporters for his or her dedication and fervour for the membership, which helped underpin the journey of the previous three years.”

Mestrov has agreed to remain in his present position till December 19, whereas the membership appears for a substitute.

“Tony has been CEO for simply over three years, and I can say that the membership is on a a lot stronger footing than when he began, and we’re very grateful for his management time period at our membership,” Sea Eagles chairman Scott Penn mentioned.
