A Ghanaian oncology nurse who has received a world award for her work has spoken to FRANCE 24 about the necessity to put money into nursing. Naomi Ohene Oti is an Oncology Nurse Specialist and Head of Nursing at Ghana’s Nationwide Radiotherapy Oncology and Nuclear Drugs Centre. She has simply been named the winner of the Aster Guardians International Nursing Award, with the prize aiming to recognise and have a good time the extraordinary contribution of nurses internationally. “Nurses are the heartbeat of healthcare, so after they (governments) get it proper (when it comes to investing in nursing), the system additionally will get it proper,” she informed us in Perspective.
