With his extensive background in both the arts and media, Palomino’s leadership will play a pivotal role in the next chapter of The Owner Press, bringing fresh, innovative perspectives.
The Owner School is revolutionizing education by connecting global learners with independent course providers, offering an unparalleled “school of hard knocks” experience powered by AI. The school’s decentralized campus mirrors the structure of a traditional college, providing learners with access to resources like housing and dining, but with a vital distinction—everything takes place in the real world, through practical, hands-on experience. Operating in stealth for nine months, the school has already curated a world-class founding team, and The Owner Press will continue to expand its mission to reshape media and education.
Roger Palomino’s appointment signals a bold new era for The Owner Press. Born in Peru and raised in Venezuela and Houston, Palomino’s passion for the arts began with his love for acting, which was ignited through community theater in his college town of Huntsville, Texas. A graduate of Sam Houston State with a degree in International Business, he shifted his career focus to acting and became deeply embedded in the Houston Film and Television scene. He is a Telly Award recipient for his work on Dia Delivery, a host and co-producer of Living the Dream and its Spanish-speaking counterpart Logros TV, and has served as emcee, host, and moderator for prestigious events like The Houston Latino Film Festival.
