Jack Frost is a tough adversary. Because the mercury falls, water’s behaviour turns into erratic, resulting in ice and snow with bodily properties that may fluctuate enormously relying on environmental elements resembling temperature and moisture. That may complicate duties as diverse as creating new ice-repellent supplies and predicting the probability of an avalanche. New analysis is suggesting methods to place this slippery area on firmer foundations.
