Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated Thursday that a “last-minute disaster” with Hamas was holding up Israeli approval of a long-awaited ceasefire that would pause the preventing in the Gaza Strip and launch dozens of hostages.  It was not but clear if Netanyahu’s statements merely mirrored jockeying to hold his fractious coalition collectively or whether or not the deal was at threat.
