Service stations are getting a glow-up

The Tesla Diner, an electric-vehicle (EV) charging hub and roadside restaurant that opened in July in Los Angeles, is just not your typical service station. The structure is glossy and retro-futuristic. The menu presents conventional diner fare with a deluxe twist (together with wagyu-beef chilli). Optimus, Tesla’s humanoid robotic, serves popcorn at an open-air cinema, which drivers can get pleasure from whereas their automobiles cost.
