LinkedIn, which is ostensibly a networking website for career-minded professionals, is overrun with sickly movies exhibiting individuals being improbably beneficiant to the homeless. Corporations publicly embrace the values of compassion: one producer of safety-gear talks of “providing grace internally”, which sounds terribly intrusive.
