Tennis participant Kamil Majchrzak tracked down a fan whose cap was snatched away from him on the US Open – so he may give him a brand new one.
The Polish star, 29, signed balls and towels for folks within the crowds at Flushing Meadows in New York after he gained his match in opposition to Russia’s Karen Khachanov on Thursday.
Footage of him giving his cap to a younger boy – just for it to be taken from his palms by a person subsequent to him – was circulated extensively on-line.
Majchrzak, who was pressured to tug out of the event attributable to damage on Saturday, put out a plea to find the fan on his Instagram web page.
“After the match I did not report that my cap did not get to the boy,” he wrote.
“Because of @asicstennis I’ve received sufficient caps, so I am ready for that. Hey guys, may you assist me discover the child from my match. If it is you (or your dad and mom see this), please ship me a DM.”
Shortly afterwards he posted once more to say he had traced the boy and subsequently uploaded a video of them assembly at Flushing Meadows.

“At present after heat up I had a pleasant assembly. Do you recognise?” the caption reads.
The clip exhibits Majchrzak, who’s Poland’s quantity two, shaking palms with the boy, providing him a goodie bag, and presenting him with a brand new cap.
On Friday, Britain’s Cameron Norrie was knocked out of the competitors by Novak Djokovic.
In the meantime, Emma Raducanu was beaten in straight units by Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.
The event will culminate within the girls’s singles ultimate on 6 September and males’s ultimate on 7 September.
