LONDON (Reuters) — The leaders of Britain, France, and Canada on Monday threatened motion towards Israel if it doesn’t cease a renewed army offensive in Gaza and raise assist restrictions, piling additional strain on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The intervention comes after the Israeli army introduced the beginning of a brand new operation on Friday, with Netanyahu saying earlier on Monday Israel would take control of the whole of Gaza. Worldwide consultants have already warned of looming famine.
“The Israeli Authorities’s denial of important humanitarian help to the civilian inhabitants is unacceptable and dangers breaching Worldwide Humanitarian Legislation,” a joint assertion launched by the British authorities stated.
