U.S. Military Removes Commander of Greenland Base

The U.S. army introduced on Thursday that it had eliminated the commander of its Pituffik base in Greenland, including that it will not tolerate any actions that go in opposition to President Trump’s agenda.

The choice to take away Col. Susannah Meyers was introduced in a press release by the U.S. House Pressure that was posted on social media by Sean Parnell, the chief spokesman for the Pentagon.

Whereas the assertion didn’t cite a selected purpose for her elimination, Mr. Parnell mentioned that “actions to undermine the chain of command or to subvert President Trump’s agenda won’t be tolerated.”

Mr. Parnell’s submit contained a hyperlink to an article by Military.com, an impartial information group, that mentioned Colonel Meyers had despatched an e mail to base workers distancing herself from Vice President JD Vance’s go to on March 28.

The House Pressure confirmed that these excerpts had been from an e mail Colonel Meyers despatched to your entire base on March 31.

Along with U.S. army personnel, civilian contractors from Greenland, Denmark and Canada additionally reside and work at Pituffik (pronounced bee-doo-FEEK).

Colonel Meyers grew to become the commander of the 821st House Base Group, which runs Pituffik, last July.
