Founder Aleigha Taylor radiates joy as she leads her first A Taylor’d EXP class—a movement born from one viral dance and built on community, confidence, and connection.

When Aleigha Taylor’s spontaneous dance at the Houston Rodeo went viral, it was more than a trending moment—it was confirmation that her time had come. What began as a burst of joy on the dance floor quickly became the spark for something far greater: the official launch of her company, A Taylor’d EXP.

“Going viral was God’s overtly loud reminder that I’m holding on to gifts that don’t belong to me,” Taylor said. “There was an audience waiting for me to jump.”

That jump came with intention. With years of experience teaching dance and fine arts, Taylor had already begun crafting a vision for community dance classes that foster healing, confidence, and joy. Her viral moment only accelerated the timeline—and opened new doors.

“I’d been making plans to have a dance class once a month,” she said. “Before I went viral, I connected with someone who introduced me to a venue owner. It was all about alignment—it happened exactly how it was supposed to.”

A Taylor’d EXP officially launched to serve a wide range of audiences through immersive, joy-driven experiences—from corporate team-building events (including wellness days, leadership retreats, and employee engagement workshops) to youth empowerment workshops in schools, private celebrations, family reunions, and community gatherings focused on connection. And the response has been electric.

Her debut event brought together over 58 participants, each ready to move, laugh, and reconnect.

“I’m still in awe of the incredible turnout and overwhelming support,” Taylor shared. “The building radiated excitement, connection, and celebration. Mission accomplished!”

But the impact wasn’t just in the numbers—it was in the hearts of the people who showed up.

“The energy was contagious electricity,” one participant said. “You could feel, see, and hear the engagement of everyone in the room—especially when we executed the dance. I wouldn’t have missed it.”

Another reflected on the joy of stepping outside their comfort zone:

“This was my first time line dancing, and I’m GRATEFUL to have had such a great instructor. It brought me back to my youth—those club mirror moments. It sparked something in me.”

That’s exactly what Taylor hopes to cultivate—an environment where joy is accessible, connection is real, and dance becomes a tool for transformation.

“People need to experience joy,” she said. “Dance and the arts give people permission for that joy to flow easily. That’s what I’m here to create.”

And she’s just getting started. With A Taylor’d EXP, Taylor is building a movement that honors creativity, fosters unity, and brings joy wherever it lands.

“If she hosts another event, I’ll definitely attend—and I’ll bring every single friend, maybe even some strangers, to experience the electricity this class produces.”
