Why the global cocoa market is melting down

BARRY CALLEBAUT, the world’s largest maker of bulk chocolate, is stuffed with beans. Its share worth has jumped by 20% since April, when it reported greater gross sales volumes regardless of a steep rise in the price of cocoa. Peter Feld, its boss, instructed traders to not fear about costly elements: “What goes up quick comes down quick.”
